Laura Days represents clients who are buying and selling houses and condominiums. Their services include reviewing and advising with respect to the Offer to Purchase, negotiating, drafting and reviewing the Purchase and Sale Agreement, and in the case of the purchase of a condominium, review of condominium documents and financial disclosures. In addition, we carefully monitor clients’ mortgage commitment contingencies to provide them with extra peace of mind. Rather than having a volume real estate business, we spend extra time on each client and transaction. Our firm also provides advice regarding financing and title clearing matters. Our firm works carefully to anticipate and resolve problems prior to the closing and provides the client with the peace of mind of representation at closing.
Laura Days also performs conveyancing (closings) for our purchase clients and lenders. We are a boutique firm that gives extra care to issues (including estate planning and tax issues) that may arise in connection with a closing. We have very exacting standards when it comes to titles, and we often address little (or big) problems that were left undone in previous closings. Our of-counsel title attorney, Heather Hoffman is meticulous about searching titles, and is extremely creative in cleaning up problems so that closings can take place, and the buyer (and lender) are protected from future problems.
